Robert M Posted February 2, 2021 Posted February 2, 2021 Greed is the most dangerous emotion for trading. Most of the traders lose money just because of this greed. And there are s trader who is mistaken greed as hope. Greed is when you have no trading plan. You trade all day long. After a profitable trade, you open another trade in the hope of making money. But we should control our greed if we want to stay in the market and make profit for long. I am trading with Eurotrader broker that has over 100 trading instruments. You can choose your best from here. Quote
Dora Wi Posted February 4, 2021 Posted February 4, 2021 Greed and consequential overtrading or revenge trading is certainly a dangerous thing. Some confuse greed with confidence, and while confidence is needed, we must not overdo it. It's better, especially in the beginning, if one focuses on progress and learning and tries to forget about the money as much as possible. That way it's easier to resist giving control to the emotions. Quote
gds221 Posted February 4, 2021 Posted February 4, 2021 In trading, many emotions can hurt. It is worth understanding that the trader needs to be as resistant to emotions during work. Quote
Thorgagar Posted February 5, 2021 Posted February 5, 2021 Greed is one of those emotions that I, inherent in beginners at the initial stage of trading, so the faster you get rid of it, the faster you get good results. Quote
gds221 Posted February 5, 2021 Posted February 5, 2021 Fear and uncertainty during trading can only harm the trader, and most importantly, can lead to losses. Quote

Ceban Posted February 12, 2021 Posted February 12, 2021 No trader has achieved a good result yet if his greed exceeded his mind. Quote
gds221 Posted February 12, 2021 Posted February 12, 2021 It is worth concluding for yourself that this will only lead to self-doubt and actions. Quote
Vaabum Posted February 12, 2021 Posted February 12, 2021 It should be understood that fear in the end will only lead to the fact that the trader will simply be uncertain about actions. Quote
Lechosław Król Posted February 12, 2021 Posted February 12, 2021 Greed is an emotion that is very terrible. Trading with that emotion is more likely to cost you valuable money. I tell every trader to give up this greed. If a trader can never get rid of this greed, he will never be able to continue trading. There are many traders who trade in the hope of making more money. I think it's one of the worst emotions that can hurt you. Quote
gds221 Posted February 13, 2021 Posted February 13, 2021 I believe that any emotions during trading may not have the most pleasant consequences, so you need to be as attentive as possible with this. Quote
Juleenelya Posted February 18, 2021 Posted February 18, 2021 well, in general, if the trader works and at the same time succumbs to greed, then he will not go far and will drain the deposit very quickly, this is already a proven fact Quote
Erienner Posted March 6, 2021 Posted March 6, 2021 I have not yet seen greed in any aspect of life lead to something good, and forex is no exception Quote
Gidencenti Posted March 11, 2021 Posted March 11, 2021 in general, greed has never brought anything good, so think about leading yourself in this or that occupation Quote
gds221 Posted March 18, 2021 Posted March 18, 2021 Uncertainty always gives rise to wrong decisions, and as a result - losses. Quote
Gidencenti Posted March 30, 2021 Posted March 30, 2021 in general, greed in forex leads only to losses, even if you look at how they choose a broker, many do not look at the fact that a broker can be scammers, but see only beautiful promises in advertising, for example, I made a choice of a broker on the advice of a friend, and very much I am pleased that I have chosen a reliable and high-quality broker - Amarkets Quote
Vaabum Posted July 17, 2022 Posted July 17, 2022 For a trader, this is an extremely negative feature. You need to be confident in your actions, otherwise losses cannot be avoided. Quote
