kochtgr
Becoming an affiliate in an affiliate-marketing program is usually simple and quick, and for the majority of affiliate programs, joining is totally free. However, despite these and all the benefits being promised by affiliate programs, some people continue to be uncertain of getting involved with affiliate marketing. One of the reasons why many people continue being cautious is the lack of a website to start promoting their affiliate products and services. This leads us to the question of whether a website is necessary in online affiliate marketing or not. There are a lot of ways someone could use, to start promoting and marketing his affiliate products even without a website. Actually, several affiliate-marketing methods that lead to success can be used without the existence of a website. Some of these methods are e-mail marketing, offline promotions, writing e-zines, writing e-books and participating in online discussions like discussion boards & forums, message boards and others. E-mail marketing E-mail marketing, is without a doubt the most popular affiliate marketing method that does not require the affiliate marketer to maintain a website. In this affiliate marketing method, what you basically do is, building a list of email addresses of your potential customers and provide them with articles that are relevant with the affiliate products or services you are marketing. The articles that you provide your prospects should not be always promotional because many people find this kind of emails annoying. Instead, it would be much better if you provide them with something useful and informative and just include small text ads that link to your affiliate url. Offline Promotion There are numerous ways to promote your affiliate products or services offline. Some of them are classified ads, flyers and brochures. Classified ads are usually more effective than the other two, mainly because classified ads in magazines typically get a broader audience. Writing Free e-books For those who like writing, creating an e-book could be the best method to promote your affiliate products or services without a website. Similar to emails and newsletters, your readers would really recognize the value of your e-book if it is not extremely promotional but rather informative. However, do not forget to make the content of your e-books relative to the affiliate products you are promoting. And in the same way like in email marketing, you can just put text ads or banners inside the content of your e-book. Writing Free E-zines E-zines are publications or articles that aim to educate people about a specific subject. Without having a website, you can effectively use e-zines to promote your affiliate products by inserting links of your affiliate products website. When you create your e-zine, you can just publish your free e-zine articles to various article directories websites that hosts e-zines, like ezinearticles.com, goarticles.com, and others. Online discussions (Forums, Chats, Discussion Boards, etc.) With or without a website, you should not ignore online discussions since they are great venues for promoting your affiliate products and services. In forums, discussion boards, chats and message boards with related subjects to your affiliate products, you can easily find individuals who are interested in the products you are marketing. With all these marketing methods, it may seems that having a website is not so important but even though you can certainly succeed in affiliate marketing without a website it is much easier to succeed if you have one. The reason is that having your own website gives you the freedom to creatively promote not only one affiliate product but all of your affiliate products and additionally establish your own presence on the web. Having said all that, it would be advisable to invest your first profits of affiliate marketing in building your own website and take advantage of all the benefits. echofrommadiun
I agree with you that we can do affiliate marketing without a website and I think you propose some great methods to do that. I just want to add that perhaps, we can also use google adwords to sell the products. I think it's quite effective. I haven't tried but I have read it somewhere in a book. You are right about adwords, if you use it in the right way you can make a lot of profits but it is not the best option for newbies because most of them will end up losing money! hyipreviewblog
You can use facebook and twitter to gain traffic to your affiliates link, but this is not the best way I guess. You can also use some article directory and add some link to your affiliates link, but many of this article directories don't allow direct link to affiliates page so you need to make one landing page first. You can use blogger for this purpose.
