do you think forex related courses should be offered in universities?

Recommended Posts

I believe, basic forex is being taught in college. For more advance explanation of forex, I think, they are being given to students taking up Economics or Accountancy. They will need that, especially when they get accepted in a bank or any other financial institutions.

In my country forex is not taught in school. Lot of people doesn't even know. I think teaching forex in schools is a very good idea for advanced students.

I think in western countries many people aware of forex but in eastern countries lit my country(sri lanka) people doesn't know about this.

By including forex lessons (Can easily be combined with economics or accounting) to the school curriculum is a good idea to educate next generation and open the doors to the world.

actually more affective if the university held its own so that our understanding is more mature. but it seems all the expert trader was able to produce a huge profits, so why would they work as a teacher on those university right. but learning in manual and own good I guess as long as we diligently to learn

if there is a forex related course in my university, i will probably take the course to increase my forex related knowledge. right now, i am still a novice forex trader, who needs to learn a lot more.

By reading a few forex articles online, I did come across a fact that forex related courses are offered by many University's and trading institutions. However, these Institutions are not available everywhere across the world so we might still have to wait for any such Institutes or University's to open in open our area.

You can try doing a google search as there are several article which provides such kinds of information regarding courses given at university's. However, such institutes or university's are not available evrywhere and thus it becomes hard to join any such university's to take forex courses.

Here's the link to one such article - http://www.forexcollegecourse.com/for_universities.php

@adnan

thank you for giving me the link. i have to say, if it is a legit company one can take advantage of it.

but one should be very careful. there can be scams too.

I don't think that the university's which provides offline forex courses can be scams as they are then trading us physically and their are no chances of them to turn scam. However, we need to make sure that the professors teaching us the Forex course and well trained and have a good forex reputation to back up their reputation.

I'm just curious. What really do you mean by course? Is it Bachelor degree? or just a certificate diploma? or even just a seminar certificate? Because in my country theirs a lot of schools that offers seminars and even certificate diploma like six months. But I don't know any school that offers BS course of forex trading alone. Maybe just a subject in business managements.

Actually that is what i'm thinking if they could only teach Forex or add that in curriculum, then it would really help those people especially here in our country which has a lot of unemployed people. Everyone can do Forex they can get some funds to trade in Forex Forums some brokers are giving bonus so poverty is not a barrier.

In the Philippines theirs no school that offers a 4 year course or bachelor degrees in forex trading. But theirs many business school that offers six months short courses for forex trading. And actually theirs so many type of short courses for forex trading. as each special course has its own exam that will grade you as a forex broker. And usually does who took that course and exam are bank employees in trading departments.

Well, looking at the opportunities that forex trading provides, I would vote for the Universities to allow such courses as the earning opportunities in this market can be huge when we learn trading forex properly. I hope we would see such Universities across all the countries all over the world.

If surely would be hard to find Forex teachers as if a teacher is well educated in Forex, why won't he trade and live a luxurious life rather then sharing his knowledge with everyone. I think, only when universities offer huge wages to such teachers, they might agree to teach us which would cost us huge fees to learn too...

Well, you have some point in there because that person should be knowledgeable in Forex which means that person already professional in trading and earning a good amount from Forex but if the offer would be good then i guess there is chances that the person will share knowledge.
