Gee Dee
Perceptibly, short term trading strategies are involving with fewer trading risks when these trading strategies are being compared to other long term trading strategies. For this reason, majority of risk adverse currency exchange traders are trying to trade in short term investment horizon to avoid the unwanted capital loss. On the other hand, a short term trader needs to be especially active to take the advantage of smaller price fluctuations.
robert.miner
There are two main school of thoughts: swing trading and trend following. Day trading is an extremely short-term style of trading in which all positions entered during a trading day are exited the same day.

Upoctin
An investor who places 10 or more trades per month is considered active. Most of them rely heavily on timing the market, taking advantage of short-term events (at the company level or based on market fluctuations) to turn a profit in the coming weeks or months. Vaabum
It is sometimes quite correct to trade for such periods of time, because if something happens, you can change the strategy in time.
