There is no basic reason to compare between the MT4 and MT5. Though a trader from centralized market can also use MT4, MT4 is the trading platform that is especially appropriate for those traders who want to trade in any decentralized market place. I personally think that MT5 is well organized and well suitable for the traders who are willing to trade in centralized market. But which trading platform a trader will use dependent on his trading requirements of course.

It is convenient when a broker, like, for example, Amarkets offers 2 options for choosing a platform and here you yourself can determine which platform suits you best and which one will trade better.

Despite the fact that the MT5 platform is considered rather more convenient due to its updates, I can say that MT4 is in no way inferior, at least, both the convenience and the result suit me.

I prefer trading with MT4 because it is simple to trade in a real account. Even though MT5 is the updated version, many traders prefer trading with MT4 because it also has a mobile version.

Trading platforms MT4, MT5 are considered the most popular, and they are presented by the broker Amarkets, and each client for himself can choose the option that is more convenient for him.

The MetaTrader 5 is a universal platform that can trade in centralized and decentralized markets, whereas the MT4 platform is a lower version of MT5 and many traders prefer trading with it because it can also be used in the mobile version.

From my understanding, the MT5 is a universal platform that can be used to trade in both central and decentralized market trades, whereas the MT4 is an older version of the MT4, but many traders prefer trading with MT4 because it is simpler to use and comes with a mobile version.

Before entering into live trading, I used both platforms with a demo account and, from my experience, I prefer the MT4 since it is suitable for currency trading.

The platform's user interface and other tools are simpler to understand and use when compared to the MT5, the MT4 is even suitable for beginner traders.
