Is it easy to do scalping during night?

When we do scalping, it’s mostly when there is some sort ranging price, as it’s easier to scalp in such situation. It’s obvious that during night time, it’s ideal setting for scalping due to mix trend. I personally feel that night is the ideal time when it comes to news trading and we can register great earning. I am with OctaFX broker and under them; it’s a lot easier for me to do with low spreads from 0.1 pips, zero balance protection, day to day market updates and much more which helps up with scalping.

You can do scalping anytime, all depends on your skills that how you manage your trade with the risk. Either day or night, you can choose any session of yours which can make more profit with your strategy.

It is up to the session, your night/evening doesn't mean my evening. Usually when the session is calmer that is a good time for scalpers to scalp the market. Not really calm like sideways but still show some volatile movement only more in longer term. If you have sharp analytical skill then during volatile time is pretty good time to scalp.

@myregister I get what do you mean above, and i agree with it, but the scalpers love when the market is calm, right? That is when the spread is not widening and even small pips movement could brought much more profit from them, i see the biggest "enemy" for scalpers is spread widening which happened when the market is so much volatile.

I think if choose broker that offer fixed spread is good for scalping, and choose pair that has low spread, might asian session market is has slow movement and there are trader scalping that like using these session for scalping, but indeed not always has slow movement so as scalping trader also need reading update news that might giving impact to the market

I don't get what is the correlation between your posts and this thread title, but when do scalping people don't care when , it is all about the condition of the market. If the market is pretty much calmer with few spreads that is when we start to take a position and trade with our scalping techniques, so the key here is the condition itself not when you all should trade.

Easy or not, I don't know. But there are many types of scalping strategies and they can be used at various times. Also day or night depends on geographical location. And there are many strategies for certain trading sessions.

Scalping can be done anytime if you are knowledgeable with this strategy. If you know how to handle the trade in short time of period then you can work with it anytime. There is no perfect time for any strategy in Forex.

I heard that scalping is not very good thing to do when the market is super volatile or above average volatile. Night or to be exact the evening session sometimes volatile sometimes calm. When the market is pretty much calm you can scalp the market without worries, majority scalpers even prefer the calmer market to make movement especially who want the small amount of profit.

I scalp mostly during start of asian session, liquidity is weak and price mostly oscillates on major rather than moving in a trend. I use Hotforex zero spread account to offset rising spreads during this time by commission and cut my trading costs.

if it can help well then a trader must really learn and try as much as possible, to help good planning and indeed as long as we keep trying as much as possible then it will be very easy to manage

It depends on your session time that when your session is open, scalping is a trick and not everyone can be master of it. Handling the risk is not as easy as we think it going to be. We have to learn that how we can manage the risk and money with our strategy.

There is no rules about this, in fact the market is not always calm during evening in my GMT session not midnight. It is pretty much fluctuate especially with New York session and London Session overlapping for few hours. Scalping is better at calmer market, but still show its volatility.

The movement of the price usually depends on an active market sessions, if during the night market is in New York and London then price movements tend to be quick, and of course the acquisition of profit daam scalping faster too

You want to say Asian session? Well there are scalpers who trade during volatile period of times. They can take profit out of the market from the volatility. But yeah calmer sessions are also good because they move slowly. Ultimately it depends on the trader who scalps. I don't judge any trader with the way they trade.

Depend on the session. In Asian session or New York session is not a big deal for them because what they want to find is relatively calmer situation so they can predict it easily which means there is relatively abundant liquidity that time. Yes, it is all depend on their scalping ability and style, not all scalpers also use small lot size like 1 micro lot.

Scalping is good anytime as long as your broker allows scalping and has tight spreads. I normally scalping almost all time by my broker freshforex. with these guys, scalping is allowed anytime
