The intermediate time-frame, such as H1 or H4, can be used for intraday trading. Swing traders can use the large time-frame, D1 or weekly, for their trading. I don't think there is a "best time" for it - it depends on you. You should start live trading after you have learnt the basics of trading and you are good enough to make consistent "profits" on a demo account.
