RSI indicator... do you think it is the best ?

many traders call it as a " leader of indicators "

 

what do you think about that ?

 

do you agree with them that RSI is really the leader of indicators ?

It is not the most profitable one but already proven by time, from so many years it perfected and become like this, even there is just small crack it doesn't a big deal. RSI also one of the favourite indicators for many traders who play with technical analysis and become one of the most trusted indicator.

yes you are right, RSI is now favourited by alot of traders and that is what makes it popular and strong.

 

but do you think it can be used only in the chart ? or it will be better if the trader use it beside other indicators ?

also it has been proven as accurate indicator(doesn't mean it always true). RSI is not the best but still a must to included into your chart especially if you are into long term trading and use technical analysis for your trading. It is still good for short term traders but most traders who try it will prefer it with long term chart/strategy.

To certain extent i must admit that RSI indicator is one of the best indicator where people can use for their daily analysis, but it would be better to put RSI to analyze the market with the longer period of trading like H1 or H4 chart which gives more accurate view of the long term trader and in shorter term of trading. But actually it stil applicable for shorter time frame

RSI is a good indicator which I have ever seen infact this indicator is simple to use and it dose not attract any difficulty if you want to use this indicator I think combiining it with Macd is the best

It may not be the best but I can tell you that this indicator have its own function as well it help in trend prediction as we all know that the primary need of any traders is the trend and that is what is good.

Some trader using ris to look on overbought oversold area, this indicator still useful and used many trader as help tool, and will good if they can getting more experience using these indicator, but this is only help tool if sometime giving false signal so don't blaming indicator

RSI is not leader in sense it is best or the most accurate, it is other term. What i want to say here is this RSI indicator is one of the most profitable indicators people use it because it has more variations and not just that RSI would give broader range for people to trade, also this is a time proven technical indicators, so people overall trust it in most  of their trading.

Yes one of the best indicator but you don't have to use it. RSI on the other hand has some flaws which you can find online so it is better to have one substitute to give better view of the sentiment on market. RSI without doubt has been proven for so long time and has quite high accuracy and more "deadly" when combined with more than one indicators.
