sakai
For me it is not certain how long I spend time for trading, as long as I'm still there with my laptop, and then trading will continue. Actually i am not able to give a lot of time in learning practicing demo trading yet. Since I am still trying to learn the basics and doing some reading. Samar
Maybe i can increase my time spend on demo trading soon after I have gained more knowledge. But for now i am doing more reading. It depends on the trader strategy. For me it is not certain how long I spend time.
StevenBendre
My knowledge in forex is not that superb because I am also in the process of learning more. I think that it is better to train your skills in the demo account first, even if not proficient should not need to force to go into a live account. HarryPotter
What I do is to give more time to my learning course of forex because it is more important to learn first and then give much time in trading. Actually i am not able to give a lot of time in learning practicing demo trading yet.
StillAlive
I may spend 2-3 hours and sometimes I could spend more than 4 hours daily. That's all depending on my activities that day. I spend on this is not more than two hours a day on average. The time I spend in forex trading will depend on my time and my interest to trade. standart
basically, I have lots of time to trading. but I am not always stay in front of monitor to search trading opportunity. because I am not an scalper trader. Samar
Well, about my own view I think that if we have time frame than sometime need less time but there is some day when need more time because of markets less time. One thing is that as a newbie if we able to spend more time
sakai
The quality of thinking and analyzing of the trader decreases with time, also if he faced loss in the former trades this will lead him to the need of recovery which means introduction of emotions with their disadvantages, which will affect the quality of trading. StevenBendre
I mostly play in daily time frame, it make me not need to watch the chart continuously. I watch a chart in the morning and see if there is an opportunity to place a position. If yes then and night after my job I will check if my position. budado
I only spend one hour a day maximum each day updating my trading accounts. But just imagine that I have 10 active trading accounts right now. So just imagine how many minutes I only spend per account. I do hope I can really make good income in here because I do believe that forex trading is really my only way to become rich some day. HarryPotter
I see that to spend 4- 6 hours a day in front of computer to check the chart is good. Number of trades does not necessarily means more profiting, while it may lead to the contrary. I mostly spend my time at night because I have already done my usual job and relaxing to watch the chart.
ivan
I don't spend much time looking at the markets as the strategy I follow is simple. I just take a position, set the SL and TP and leave it until it hits any one. Actually it is not important to spend many hours in forex market to earn profit. StillAlive
Well, for me I don't have to keep monitoring the markets. I do check the market from time to time to check if either my TP or SL has been hit. Once it has hit, I look forward to take another position and do the same. It's taking some time for me when I start trading as I usually online most of the time.
sakai
Well, if i beat so much, i will just stop the trading and if i already reach some good target that i already set from the first time i trading in forex. My strategy includes taking a position using technical indicators and trend and leaving it until it doesn't hit my TP.
Samar
At the most times I just stand by MT4 and just monitor any progress or movement of different pairs. And when I have open trades then I will going to monitor it as long as I have find it already good to close the position.
StevenBendre
About my own, I am not a full time forex trader, but I have to spend most of my time on my work in the daylight, so I just spend less than three or four hours on forex per day, now I choose long term to trade, so there is no need for me to sit in front of screen. HarryPotter
I think if you don't have much spare time to trade, it good to trade with long term, even though mostly used by expert trader, but often the profit is good too. If we only have special time to trade yea scalping is the best choose.
ivan
Well, scalping give us quick money but I think there is very much risk involved here if suddenly market goes against us .anyway I also trading 5 to 6 hours and now I am fixing the time zone because I seen there is not much movement all the time and its better to trade any particular time. sakai
It depends on the trader strategy. for me it is not certain how long I spend time for trading, as long as I'm still there with my laptop, then trading will continue, to this day I still do it and I'm almost a full day trading. StevenBendre
I think that it is better to train your skills in the demo account first, even if not proficient should not need to force to go into a live account, because it's useless later only going to spend your money only, because I'm pretty experienced with it. euro
Actually I am not able to give a lot of time in learning practicing demo trading yet. Since I am still trying to learn the basics and doing some reading. Maybe I can increase my time spend on demo trading soon after I have gained more knowledge. But for now I am doing more reading. You can do them simultaneously and that will give you more understanding. In a demo, all you have to do is pick a good pair, try euro/usd and then open a long term position or short term when there is a bullish trend to trade and then close your positions to make a profit so then you will know what your reading is talking about. When you do the real trading, somehow, you will understand it so much more than just reading.
ivan
Well, about me, I think that scalping is a great strategy for beginner traders. It is ideal for traders who want to make money on the currency markets, but find it challenging to hold onto a single position for very long.
