Wednesday 2nd October 2013Result 3.00%Report Another positive day at the tables, thanks to our skilled poker team. The team started the day with some sit and go tournaments, which usually prove profitable (though often a little slower than regular sit and go cash games). Out of the 9 tournaments that they took part in, they were in the money for 7 of them, which resulted in a nice start to the day. Following the tournaments, our team moved onto the $2/4NL tables, where they played for a total of 3 hours, before calling it a day. The total return was 3%. Sunday 6th October 2013 Result 3.33%Report Another great day at the tables here at the Casino de Montreal. Things started off well, with a few wins on the lower limit tables, before we decided to move up to some higher limits. For some reason, the casino was packed (perhaps due to the lousy weather), which was great, as it provided us with a wide variety of players, including numerous amateurs who were trying their luck.After a few hours of play, we calculated that we had achieved a return of 3.33%, which we felt was a satisfactory result for the day. Anyway, we’ve just packed up and checked out of our hotel, and will be departing Montreal. Tuesday 8th October 2013 Result -3.00% Report The day started pretty well, with a few wins as our team was getting warmed up, however things quickly took a turn for the worse after we had played for about an hour. Usually when we have a loss day, things are lousy from the beginning, however today we were actually up 2% at one point, and probably should have quit. However, our team kept playing, which was ultimately a bad decision, as it resulted in an overall loss of 3%. There wasn’t one particular bad beat, or large hand that caused today’s overall loss, but rather a series of small losses where we kept coming up just a little short of winning the hand. You do your best when you have pocket kings, but every now and then, another players gets lucky and has pocket aces. Anyway, despite today’s loss, we’re happy with the overall returns that have been produced by PokerByProxy thus far. In other news, we are currently working on expanding our team, and are currently in the process of testing out two new players. Assuming everything goes well with the initiation process, our larger team will be more diversified and better able to handle the increasing amount of deposits that we’re receiving here at PokerByProxy. Saturday 19th October 2013 Result 3.20%Report After taking the majority of yesterday to rest, our team was eager to hit the tables today and come home with a nice profit. They started the day off at Poker Stars Zoom Poker, where they usually find the players loose and the wins easy. Today was no different, with the team being able to make a fairly good profit during a two hour session. We got quite lucky at one point, narrowly avoiding a potential bad beat, and luckily taking a rather large pot in the process.Following the session with Zoom Poker, the team moved over to Party Poker to play some sit and go tournaments. For some reason, they always seem to have better luck at Party Poker when it comes to sit and go’s. Anyway, in total, they played 12 sit and go tournaments, and ending up in the money in 8 of them. Not bad, considering there were a few 1st place wins among those. After lunch, the team played a few random cash games, before tallying up the winnings and calling it a day. The total profit from today’s play was 3.2%. Since our team has been busy packing and preparing, I wasn’t sure that we’d be able to squeeze in enough time to play, however the team did manage to get in a 45 minute session this morning, during which time they achieved a reasonable 1.15% result.
