mj_14327 Posted October 6, 2010 Posted October 6, 2010 For me the best operating system is window xp. old but good feautures and the speed was not slow. but now the latest is window 7 but i see many errors in windows 7 and if your computer is low processor you can't use that os. Quote
itsmine Posted October 7, 2010 Posted October 7, 2010 I had many compatibility issues with Windows 7 but i recommend using it because it has some cool new features and more stable. Quote
Aikhen Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 well for me its still the windows xp because it a very user friendly and very east to use abd navigate and also there ARE a lot of program that is compatible in XP Quote
Prateek Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 Windows Xp service pack 3 was best for me as i was familiar to work on it. If you want free and open source operating system you can always go for linux operating system. I am presently using windows7 basic but i am not that much satisfied with it. Quote
dhanpreet Posted October 23, 2010 Posted October 23, 2010 Window 7 ultimate edition is best for me....I am using it and is pretty satisfied with it Quote
mr.microsoft Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 I would recommend Windows 7 64-bit Ultimate edition. It's super fast and they have removed the performance issues of vista as well as provided with a very good interface. Quote
tummalapalli Posted November 18, 2010 Posted November 18, 2010 There are some truly amazing features in Windows 7, but I still prefer Windows XP to Windows 7.... Because the features and the speed are cool.... Unlike Windows 7 with some of the old processors..... Quote
hayoomaa Posted November 18, 2010 Posted November 18, 2010 well for me i used to use win xp but know with my toshiba laptop iuse win vista basic and i love it really i'm so comfortable i will try to try win 7 next Quote
Prateek Posted November 18, 2010 Posted November 18, 2010 Linux operating system named Ubunto is best when it comes to protection from virus and other security concern.. It is bit hard to use and softwares are not easily available but once you start using this operating system ,you will find it more interesting. Quote
indieover Posted December 17, 2010 Posted December 17, 2010 i am just happy with windows xp. i was planning to use windows 7 but it seems more complicated and not compatible to some programs unlike xp. so i think xp is still the best for me. no fuss. and it is more importantly plug and play Quote
speedbus Posted December 31, 2010 Posted December 31, 2010 Win7 and LinuxShark (www.linuxshark.info) --> I use linuxshark when surfing the web and designing .. as its the most stable OS you can find.. never crashed on my laptop or PC ! + no Viruses On it and its free ! which makes it the ultimate OS for me ! Quote
FinCoder Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 I really like this xp sp3. I hope that they would continue working service packs for this os. Quote
yamsonjulius Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 for me windows xp is the because bug is much lesser and user friendly. Quote
mido5555h Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 Windows 7 has a great view but Windows XP is better for the old processors and both of them are better than Vista Quote
linux300 Posted February 25, 2011 Posted February 25, 2011 Linux fedora http://fedoraproject.org/ Quote
moneyman Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 Windows 7 64bit would be the best choice for me, it has good features and its outfit is nice looking too. It's better than XP because it's hard to find XP 64bit version plus XP isn't so stable. Linux is better than Windows in my opinion, but it doesn't support a plenty of games. So I prefer Windows 7. bakry Posted March 23, 2011 Posted March 23, 2011 For me the best operating system is Window 7 ultimate edition x32 it it has good features and all drivers . Quote
asks Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011 For me the best operating system is Window 7 ultimate edition x32 it it has good features and all drivers . Since the win 7 so good, it seems I have to upgrade Quote
girlaloosh01 Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 I prefer Windows 7. There's a lot of improvements/advancements in Windows 7 and the security is also high enough. Your unit is really secluded when you're using Windows 7. Lots of updates are going in Windows 7. But right now, I'm still using Windows XP, but I'll upgrade to 7 already. I've tried using Vista already, but I don't recommend it. It requires high Video card, that's why it's no compatible in my unit. Quote
raju993 Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 i use windows 7, soooo much better than windows vista lol. Quote
ma7aa3d Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 my operating system is windows XP SP2 and i think it is not bad and all of programs is available for it but i think windows 7 is better than XP Quote
purplegl Posted August 20, 2011 Posted August 20, 2011 @ mj_14327 I agree with you that so far Windows XP is the most stable OS for Windows compared to other Windows OS, especially Windows Vista (it's sucks). Quote
yogeshwartyagi Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 I am stuck with Windows XP - though Windows 7 is good too but some of my programs especially those need to register components need to run with admin rights that is annoying so i go with windows XP and have no major compalints about it. Quote
Prateek Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 I would prefer Linux operating system as it is the open source operating system and there is no fear of viruses and worm. Everything is available at a click of button and there is no need to spend for even a big software's and drivers whereas in windows even for small update we have to pay. Quote
yogeshwartyagi Posted September 10, 2011 Posted September 10, 2011 Yeah i agree linux is popular as well as economical - most of the code we can get free as open source, but this all depends on one's need - recently when my laptops hard disk crashed i found that hiren's mini xp is the best operating system in such situation as we can work without a hard disk booting with CD rom and amazing i am able to explore internet without a hard disk.
