And the next thing also, we can try to use the free money, like from the forum or from the broker's bonus to open the real account to trade on Forex here. So, demo contest is not only place to practice but way to get additional balance to trade. And we can conclude, demo contest is very useful. riddick09 Posted February 2, 2013 Share Posted February 2, 2013 It will be only very useful if that contest is to have many winners but if that is only few who will become winners then, we can say it's more of very competitive contest and not really good to make it as practice. Usually, we have these trading contests as sort of practice since we are in the demo account and therefore, we don't risk here the funds but we have chance to gain bonus or earnings. However profits made in a demo account does not necessarily indicate that we have learnt quite well about Forex and acquired enough knowledge and skills to begin actual trading because two main elements of Forex trading which are risk and fear are both absent in demo trading. Because, they can't just learn thoroughly Forex in just what stated in the books or in the online resources. Those are not enough to give significant details on the market situations. We can say that demo trading or to gain experience will have the best way to have this experience and to practice in demo is the only way.
