I think the best way to attract Refferals in an online businesses is by posting your Refferal links on social sites and more and you can as well tell someone offline about the site and then when signing up he/she should add your name as refferer when signing up with the site in Question with that you can most people as your refferals.

Ways for attracting Referrals.

Make a slogans or deals or something that will attract people to join.

Post some payment proof while you advertising.

Try to advertise your link as much as you can.

Try out Social Websites like Facebook ..There you can get alot referral

In my opinion getting referral is very difficult. Personally i never got a single working referral

You need to show them an informative description of the site and share a fair part of your referal commission with them. Show that you are support them with their questions and problems they have.

Getting referral is tough. You have to ping people on LinkedIn whom you don’t know or you have to call friends. An easier way is instarefr.com. Simply login, browse through the openings in different companies based on multiple search criteria. If you like any job profile simply click on get referral. Now your profile will be visible to all the current employees of that company. If they like your profile they will refer you in your company.
