Well the broker can only support you in providing good environment and it is upto your own trading skills as how successfully you can trade the market profitably. Of course it does matter if broker has good support, may be attractive deposit bonus and also low spread along with prompt support.

It depend on pair and the normal volatility what leverage is safe and good. For some pairs 1:100 leverage may be okey but some others which are highly volatile may require lessor leverage like 1:20 or even 1:10. So the issue of leverage is to be decided by taking volatility into consideration, higher leverage on one hand may make us higher profits, but on other may blow our account without making any profit.

Yes zero spread does not mean free trading here, in fact no broker will allow us to trade until he gain something in return, by charging more commission there remain no such benefit of getting a 0 spread trading. So chose broker that has low spread and no commission for opening closing orders.

There is no money in demo account so no profits can be made in real. So it is real trading we take all stress for, still demo trading is not useless in anyway it help us prepare to trade real account in better way, and it is the knowledge we earn of demo that make us good profits on real.

I have heard several brokers which offer signup bonus but i did not find any one where we can really make some good profits with such bonus.
