I'm a scalper. I prefer brokers like FP Markets or Global Prime because of their tight spreads and execution speed. I trade with FP Markets since they have a minimum opening balance of $100 AUD and the commission cost is $6 per round lot with 0.01 lots.

How can emotions affect trading and what are the consequences involved in it?

Scalping is known to be a quicker method to gain profits and most beginner traders enter into it without knowing that the risk involved is higher in it.

It is better to do your research before choosing the right broker because many brokers are scammers. I can suggest a few good brokers like FP Markets, CMC and Global Prime. They have lower commission and good trading conditions, FP Markets is one of the lowest brokers among them with over 15 years of experience.

Leverage can be effective or a risk depending on the trading method. Using higher leverage is a risk, but it is profitable with money management skills and using minimum leverage can bring in consistent lower profit, and risk is also low.

Hi Gunter, though FP Markets and ICM spreads are similar, FP Markets trading condition is better because of their reliable and faster execution speed.

Scalping is one of the quick method to earn quick cash so it is important to trade with good conditions like Fast execution, lowest spreads and slippage.

I'm currently trying to choose a broker and have crossed it down between FP Markets and XM. Not sure which one is the right broker. Traders, that have or currently trading with either of the brokers would explain which one is a better choice and why?
