I prefer scalping than any other trading method because it is a quick way to earn cash, and with a good strategy and skills, it becomes easier to trade. I currently scalp with an ASIC broker FP Markets because in scalping, the main criteria are tight spreads, lower commission and fast execution speed, and FP Markets are perfect for it.

It is regulated by ASIC and holds an offshore license with St.vincent; they are reliable and adhere to strict capital requirements and trades.

Reasons Why Traders Prefer a Regulated Broker
Ralph replied to Fedra Bianchi's topic in Forex General Discussion
Trading with a regulated broker gives traders the security that the invested capital is safe, and there is no room for manipulation of trades. -
In my opinion, forex is not a scam, but some brokers trick traders and lure them into their scam, which is why regulations came in-to eliminating such brokers. An experienced trader has the forex knowledge to differentiate between a scammer and a proper broker. Beginners are the ones that fall into scammers trap.

My reliable broker is FP Markets, active for a decade and its regulated by ASIC so there is no manipulation and they adhere to strict capital requirements. I prefer trading with their Raw ecn account because of tight spreads and their quick responding customer support members.

Looking to move my live account to a different broker, i had a account with XM, the spreads was good initially but recently they have become extremely wide. Anyone trading live suggest a broker with lower spreads, preferably ECN pricing? Main criteria is that it should be stable even during high volatile market conditions.

Another example of withdrawal not being processed
Ralph replied to pipdmt's topic in Forex General Discussion
I would suggest to choose a proper broker before you decide to trade, reading reviews and checking about the broker on Forex Forums like this and Forex Factory will give you some of the information you need. And be aware of scammers on forex sites, some are advertisers using forums to lure in customers. -
Anyone trading with FP Markets know if they onboard UK clients to their ASIC license or should we choose only their Cysec Entity. I would prefer under their ASIC license as i want slightly higher leverage ?
-
Common mistake made in forex is choosing leverages, trading with bad spreads. Biggest mistakes choosing an non regulated broker and trading with high capital.
