Yes, this forum deals with forex discussions and is not a PTP forum but they do hold contests from time to time which can allow you to earn good amount of money from them. They usually hold Posting contest and Referral contest through which members of GFT can receive an opportunity to win good amount of money as prizes every now and then.

Well, as far as I know, their dispute system is handy only when the person who scams your fund has the funds available on their Alertpay accounts. However, there is a chance of loosing more than initial deposit in Forex. This is only when an active position is kept open during weekends and the price on that position moves unexpectedly to more than the initial investment you have on your trading account.

Forex trading depends on the amount per lot you will be purchasing your position at. Say, you are looking to open each lot worth $0.01 then you will be requiring $3000 to purchase 3000 shares of USD/JPY. Additionally, your account should have additional funds to keep your position active which can be as much as you desire but I will prefer $30000 as then 10% will be your position worth and the risk management would be better then.

I do agree with you the a trader should not carried away by emotions as Forex is not for those who trade under emotions. All they have to do is to find a broker offering Demo account for trading and register with them. As demo trading is done with virtual money, there is no requirement for depositing any money on demo accounts.

That's what I do. I just take a position and keep it running until either my Stop Loss or Take Profit is hit. In this way, I don't have to keep monitoring the markets. I do check the market from time to time to check if either my TP or SL has been hit. Once it has hit, I look forward to take another position and do the same.
