You are right but the problem with gap strategy is that we don't know whether they will appear or not. If Friday has a big movement on a pair then there is a chance that on next market opening there will be a gap. But that's not sure fire as well.

Some would say 1% & some would say 5% or something else. The thing is the winner percentage is small. The small percentage that wins are not all big traders. Among them retails traders also there.

Well I don't look for any of those. The first thing is survival in this market. And a broker's honesty is very necessary for a traders survival. So look for an honest broker and then customer support etc.

In my view mobile phone is not a proper tool for trading. One needs a PC for that. Mobile phones are good for trade management so one does not have to stick to the PC but totally trading on mobile is not a good idea in my opinion.

No one either small or big has any control over the forex market. Yeah big entities can move the forex market but not for more than a few moments. We retail traders on the other hand, have to follow our trading plans.

This is what I also think. lol No one would like to work on a 9 to 5 basis. lol And will trade forex only. But what would happen if everyone trades forex? Who will maintain a broker? lol

I am a technical trader. Normally I don't take a look at fundamentals and rely on my decision based on what I see on the chart. If I find a good trading opportunity then I enter and if not I have the patience to wait for it.

Gap actually is profitable traders know how to trade it. Offers good risk reward ratio. One person I know traded gap and saw decent profit. I am out of touch with that person now. Don't know how he is doing.

I always hear good things about renko bars. But one thing I don't like about it is that it only works on offline charts and that's a hassle. But those who trade with renko charts I am not against them. As long as it brings positive pips it's good.

One thing about currency strength meter was not mentioned is it also gives false signals. In past I have used one and it is good but also gave false signals. But gave more good signals than bad signals. It can be an useful tool for those still use indicators.

Agree with you. Experience is the better teacher. And if a trader sticks to his trading strategy then he should be able to find out what are the disadvantages his strategy is facing and should be able to improve his strategy. In the long run it should give better result.
