What kind of trading is good for newbies is unknown, the thing is a newbie should try to build a strategy first. Discover what type of trading suits him. And learn what is good for him in the long run. They should go for that type of trading.

Well emotions won't get under control in one day. And they will stick around. But over time we will learn to deal with it and hence which we call controlling it. We should have a trading plan and we should learn to strictly stick to it. That way emotions won't be able to harm us.

Without risk there is no profit. That is how it works. If there was something which is risk free then everyone would be investing there. Everything has it's inherent risk. Investing in leveraged product carries a bit more. So people should understand and accept that before investing.

With demo account we can also learn about how to maintain our risk. We can use the amount we intend to use on a live account and there we can use proper risk management and see how much growth we can do to that demo account. It will show how potentially our capital will work on a live account.

Well there is nothing not to be loved about demo trading. All it does is help us. The only drawback of demo account is that it can not train emotion. But there are many other things a trader needs to sort out and demo is the perfect place for those.

There are many regulated brokers who got caught for ripping their clients. Messing with their client's orders, making them suffer loss. I really don't put much priority on regulation. Having a regulation is good but a broker's honesty should be the main concern for a trader. Just my opinion.

Yeah for the long run a good strategy development is necessary. I personally think gamblers gambling in forex market are fine. You see when we enter a trade, there are 2 parties involved. 1 person is buying and another is selling. So if the other party is gambler then there is no problem with it. The money flow is more when they gamble in this market. lol

Well I can confirm I did that. lol I did it on rage. Tried revenge trading and lost more. lol Then went numb and thought what I did. And I am sure many have experience like me. It took time for me to realize market is not against anyone. It moves at it's own pace and we have to adapt to it.

In my view in the forex market the most difficult task is to predict the direction. The market run based on collective emotions of traders. And there are millions of them. So harnessing them is an impossible task. That is why traders have created various ways to predict those collective emotions.

There is risk involved with every business. There is no risk free business out there. Otherwise all the money would shift there. We have to accept this. And those who does not understand forex they laugh at traders. I had my share. lol

You are right and I agree with you. One should not invest everything in one business. For safety a person should diversify his capital. So if one fails other sources will help him rise up again. When it comes to money one should always be careful.

Only understanding things won't be enough in my opinion. Whatever a trader learns he has to sum those up and create a trading plan which will give him positive pips for a long term. Also the trader needs to keep improving himself so he can achieve better gains.
