You are right. A trader should give himself sufficient amount of time to get prepared for live trading. When real money will be involved then thing are not going to be easier for a trader so the more prepared a trader becomes the better.

All you said can be earned but what actually needs to be done is putting all these together and develop a good trading plan with which a trader can bring positive pips to his or her trading account.

This sounded odd to me. If someone can make profit then he or she should focus on trading. Because that can bring decent amount of money to a person and won't need to look for another work if true.

Agree with you. In forex market we can not rely on our instincts. And we need a good trading plan which will bring us positive pips. And creating a trading plan is a difficult process. Also traders must accept the fact that things are not going to happen in an instant so they have to have patience and determination.

This statement is arguable. In a zero sum game the total gains of the participants are added up and the total losses are subtracted, they will sum to zero. But there are additional costs in this equation so it is not entirely a zero sum game.

Demo is an ideal account for many things and we should take advantage of every bit of it. Traders who understand this will continue to do experiments on demo account before going live.

Bonuses are attractive but it should be optional in my opinion. Traders should not run after bonus and focus on what they can do with their own money. If they can keep increasing it then bonus will be a small thing for them.

Profit depends on the trader who is using the strategy. A good scalping strategy may not work if the trader does not use it properly. Any kind of trading can be profitable if the trader does things properly.

Catching that kind of move will be quite difficult. It is what swing traders will target and not every swing trader. For this kind of profit to achieve a trader also need to have a good understanding of fundamentals. Not my piece of cake. lol

Both have decent amount of risk but I will stick with forex rather than stocks. Forex has been preferred since I ventured in the market. And also still now don't focus much on stocks. I am good with major pairs.

First of all trader does not need money to start learning in the forex market. Demo account is there for that. And it is true that all of us need leverage but we should not take it literally. Leverage can damage us for real good and we should be careful with it.

My wish is similar to yours. But the sad thing is things I wanted from forex to happen did not happen as planned. And I am behind what I had planned for but still working on it and reaching there slowly.
