I've just realized that some brokers such as Ducascopy is using a different platform know as JForex. I don't understand the Benefit of this Platform over Mt4 or MT5, could someone please clarify this

Yes, I think its possible to trade without emotions. First, ensure you're not risking more than you are willing to loose, I've learnt from several traders at freshforex that, indeed its possible to trade without emotions. Here is what I learnt from this forum.

You're right, the problem is that regulation is not the only thing one should look for, Brokers such as instaforex are said to be regulated but they are still found in the instances where they have scammed their clients. So regulation is relative.

I wonder how OctaFX comes into this, I think the topic of this discussion talks about how much traders want to make in forex trading. Wonder just how a broker is relevant in this. seems to me you're so much focused into promoting this broker, that you forget to read even the topic. so sad!

In my opinion, Forex is not gambling;; because everything in life is gambling, nothing is assured, that you've studied up to your Phd doesn't guarantee success in life,,, Ever wondered why Bill gates will die a billionaire while those with Phds will die poor,,, is because one group thought education was a sure means of success.. which is not correct, education is just one way to success. That you trade with OCTAFX, ACCENTFX, FXCM, FRESHFOREX, OANDA or ANY OTHER broker out there does not guarantee success,, the brokers online provide the platform..

So far, I only know of Dukaskopy as having JForex platform, I believe this is the only broker with this kind of platform. I may be right, but I don't know, which other brokers use this platform?

Instead of compounding, you should settle for correlation. I learnt this from freshforex analyst. Correlation is very good, it helps spread the risk to other pairs that are less risky, compounding involves spread the same share of risk to other accounts.
