whether our money safe in a broker?
Latham Lapard replied to uncle gober's topic in Forex General Discussion
To be frank, our money is always at risk. That being said, if you use good regulated, popular & well capitalized broker then there is little to no chance of loss of our trading capital. But things can go ugly too especially during flash crash! I lost nearly $200 with Alpari UK when it shut down following SNB induced flash crash of Jan 2015. Thus, only trade with the money which you can afford to lose. -
whether you like positive or negative slippage?
Latham Lapard replied to uncle gober's topic in Forex General Discussion
Slippages are those in which the market moves very fast and your order(s) like SL, TP or manual opening/modification/close of a trade does not happen to your set/expected price. I am with FreshForex broker who is a true ECN broker which has little to no slippages or re-quotes. So, you can expect your orders to be filled at your desired levels. This happens all the times and with a good broker like FreshForex you can minimize this. -
Yeah Stop Loss is a good money management tool. It helps us to minimize losses and to protect our main account based on our risk/reward ratio. A good broker is equally needed. I trade with FreshForex which gives me good trading conditions for effective trading like fast trade executions, no - requotes / slippages which are very good during high market volatility and you get your SL filled to your set point or at the least nearest to it.

I think that depends on your time, learning ability, strategy being followed, etc. I traded with FreshForex’s Demo before going real for nearly 3 months. I also used their free forex education to gain skills. When I migrated to Real, I still followed all the rules and as such don’t take very high risks and always cover my risks. Don’t be in a hurry to learn & earn though!

Bonuses that are really useful are those which take into account the trading parameters like margin. I trade with FreshForex broker who is now offering 101% bonus on deposits which are tradable & margin calculated. It is like your own money added. Others don’t take margin into account! Other than bonus, you have to look at the trading conditions of the broker too for which my broker FreshForex is pretty good enough!

GBP/USD was in killer mood with the heavily drop after Brexit, it went nuts with dropping down to 1.20 level, but pulled up equally quickly with putting up nearly 400 pips then eventually settling at 1.2435 level, but it’s likely that the gateway has been wide open now.

EUR/USD started off the week in pretty tide fashion with the pair riding around 1.13 to 1.12 level, but with the major happens like NFP taking place, it made the pair dip slightly, but eventually settling around 1.12 level.

Low spreads are much sought after because it reduces the cost from our side especially if you trade often. Go for true ECN broker as they only can give you such raw low spreads from 0.1 onwards. I am with FreshForex and they provide the lowest possible spread leveraging their expertise in accessing the inter-bank liquidity & working with multiple Liquidity Providers. Also, they got amazing Shared Holder facility, so now we can hold shares of Microsoft, Facebook and many such companies!

FXCM of late is going downhill and just surviving on very thin support. They have hit hard by various events, the recent one being the SNB fiasco which all but shut down this broker. They also been fined by regulators for various violations and their trading executions & conditions don't inspire hope anymore. Being a USA based broker there are many regulatory rules which are different from other countries. Why would anyone still stick with them when many good options are available?!

Can no deposit free money help you achieve success on forex ?
Latham Lapard replied to kaito kid's topic in Forex Newbies
Most of the no-deposit bonuses are not good. That being said, such bonuses are also offered by genuine & regulated brokers to try out their services. I once took the no-deposit bonus of $100 from capitaloneforex.com. They have some requirements like to make particular lot trades in a given period of time which is not enough to trade effectively to make profits & most importantly to withdraw. Needless to say, they did not honor my withdrawals and later disabled my account. Very bad experience! -
$3000, where is the right place to invest?
Latham Lapard replied to flybiz08's topic in Forex Newbies
I would say go for FreshForex as they are true ECN broker with host of features. They are now offering 36% deposit on interest and as such in your case you can deposit a part in this scheme and then trade with the rest. eg you can park $2000 with 36% interest per annum and remaining $1000 for trading. You would get passive income year over year and you can also trade in conducive environs too. So, methinks it is a win-win situation. -
There is no specific time for the same. It depends on the learning capability of the trader with continuous working on a good strategy. Most do it around 6 months or so which is a fairly good time, IMO. You need to select a good broker too for your journey in forex. I have selected FreshForex for their services which provide both Demo & Live accounts. It also provides Forex Education which helps the newbies in their learning! Later they can migrate to Live with host of features

Best ECN Broker is what works the best for you. I trade with FreshForex which has been operating for long and is a true ECN and regulated. It provides the necessary suitable conditions for comfortable trading. For me it is trade executions which must be fast & no-requotes along with low spreads, high leverage, bonus, rebates, and interests on deposit and now even Share Holder option, So far, so good!
-
I like the Bonus in which the Margin is taken into account rather than the opposite. I trade with FreshForex whereby I have activated the 101% fully tradeable bonus which adds to my Margins and helps me to trade comfortably without actually depositing higher to start with! Add in the other complementing features like fast executions, little to no slippage/re-quotes and you can trade without much problem and can give full focus to improving your trading!

Profits are plain and simple reasons for it, but it’s obviously only if we have knowledge and experience for it. I am quite lucky to have it and now with my broker FreshForex, I am able to trade on both Forex and Binary easily from same platform, it’s just marvelous!
-
I say bonus that’s given with keeping clients requirement in mind is what I consider to be really profitable and good. Here is one such bonus from one of the best brokerage company in the industry FreshForex, as they are offering 101% Trade Able bonus, so this is what defines real profitable bonus!

whether our money safe in a broker?
Latham Lapard replied to uncle gober's topic in Forex General Discussion
I feel incredibly secure now as compare to some years back. The difference is so much that now I never even worry about keeping money in my account with my broker FreshForex, it’s all due to their service that I am so comfortable with. They pay me instantly without charging commission and are highly reliable like one can check from reading reviews! -
Same here Francmorio, I believe the same as I fee ECN account is the best way to go about things especially if we are doing scalping since not only we have lower charges, but never have to worry about issues like slippage, re quote or delay.

USD/JPY has been bullish this week with pair going towards 104 level, but eventually settling below it at 103.88 level, it maybe again push pass 104 mark, but there is strong possibility of the pair going down under towards 102 level.
-
EUR/JPY was bullish this week with pair touching 116 level, it’s likely to reserve around this stage, but eventually it’s going to push towards 117 level and if crossed then we may see 119 been challenged as well.
-
USD/JPY went downhill with routine drop of nearly 200 pips before closing out just above 100 level, it’s likely that we will see the pair continuing with bearish movement, so that’s why it’s good chance to short with any pull backs.
-
EUR/JPY was in very mixed trend and went between 112.50 to 113.50 level, it’s likely to continue on this route till there is any clarity, but we may see the bulls finally going better, it will be interesting to see if it could cross 115 level, as that could be the deciding factor for next movement.

Is it easy to earn money in forex?
Latham Lapard replied to lollabun's topic in Forex General Discussion
It depends a lot on our approach and how we work it out, if we follow good strategy and have right approach then we can always gain high rewards, I am lucky enough to be with FreshForex, as their features have made my life too easy especially with their bonus! -
I believe risk is definitely there, but then there are also rewards to be had, so it’s all about doing hard work to reach to level where we can gain rewards easily. I have always found trading to be exciting and with FreshForex, it’s ever easy which to do with their rock solid conditions like these –
