Hm, you mean that your expectation is the only negative impact of forex? I think that is not forex, since we also have expectations in the other thing we want and sometimes we cannot achieve the target we set before. By the way some of my friends which i have been asked tell me that forex affect them in different way from their perspective to money to simple aspect such as sleeping hours.

In the ideal situation as i said before where someone is so much good at multi-tasking and able to trade very well on both of those business field. I am sure that people earning would be bigger rather than just spend his/her time on foreign exchange alone or on stock trading/investment alone. But when that question asked to me, i will prefer Foreign Exchange.

@sininfinity Well, to start with small capital what i worry is that your account will got margin call when there is big volatility. Also based on that site, it is better to use 0.5 lot. Why? So you can earn better from the interest rate, small lot size means small earning and even with bigger lot size your actual earning is way lower but this one is pretty much stable one if you able to operate it through the right way.

Robot and Manual trading are both the way for traders to make money. One is better than others at certain situation, and by the way forex robot overall is improving. Well, not all those forex robots but some that used by big corporations. Believe it or not maybe we trade not with the other humans on the other side but with bot that specifically created for trading.

Scalpers mostly have control but there are few of them which use stop loss feature, it makes them more automated than others. Basically i think what people means as having control here is that you don't give to the system 100% control, so even the system still takes your place but not the whole trading process that still considered by them as manual trading.

In well regulated broker there will be less and less issue so far. I trade in my current broker which regulated by FCA and MFSA. Both are good regulators and the broker also have good reputation in more than 8 years. So it is fine to say that regulation is important thing for broker and also for traders, at least for their first indicators to choose the right broker.

Not just night, if i was scalpers then i prefer to trade during calmer time, not just in evening. It must be calm means that the market flow is predictable doesn't contain much volatile movement and have less trading's volume. Usually in the ending or near ending of each session.

But you need to know that in some cases, this break instead sending you away from your car but you don't even collide with other cars. What i means that the price make sudden turn or gradual turn after break your SL just a bit. Even like that SL is a good tools for automated trading, makes it easier.

It is a messed up when you see someone is effectively mixed emotions and forex trading which the result as we all expected is a huge loss. I agree with you that is why we need risk management to control our risk, by doing this you don't have to worry so much about losing your money. Less is better than More but with more loss. Well, not all regret that. Forex for them just like gambling or to be precise is just a game, a money game. I don't think as money game, it is a risky business gives me relatively faster profit but also could deliver relatively faster loss. So it is up to each traders to learn how to control the risk and its dark side.

Okay, luck is a good thing i think all of us want to be a lucky person. But this lucky thing is not something which is important especially in foreign exchange, because as far as i know this is not something that always come up with your strategy and your expectations.

I said before it has similarity in some aspects but not all, like Risk Management in forex which is more flexible and proven to help while in Gambling you won't find because it is all about guessing and luck.

Learn and try to do that is not enough for you. If you consistently making profit then it means that you are experienced enough. Experience is the key here, so it means you must spend like few years before start to do that unless you are prodigy or super talented traders. Consistent and good profit is hard to come by.
