I am hoping too that the site will live longer than, say, myLot, and keeps on paying fast and giving higher rates. I have just requested a payment from the site, days ago and got it already this day. Not only is the site's admin a fast payer, the moderators here too are very fast in verifying posts. -
It also makes you wonder what the new admin is planning to do with the site. There was a discussion in other forums where one former moderator of the forum said that somebody was trying to buy the site. The new admin should have just sold the site instead of making it die slowly.

Technical or Fundamental that you like more?
pinoycity replied to andry777's topic in Forex General Discussion
I believe, for newcomer in forex, they will be more of a Fundamentalist rather than a Technicalist. You can't learn immediately those graphs and those strategies but you can read the news and say that they might affect this and that currency. -
I believe, a demo account and a real account needs each other. A demo account is, of course, where you get to learn the basics and the strategies you need when you enter the real world of forex. The real account is where you use what you learned in demo.

The Simplest Way to Earn in Forex
pinoycity replied to smithlover84's topic in Forex General Discussion
I guess, the simplest way to earn in forex is put your money in some fund and let a money manager who is expert in forex, manage it. Let him/her get some percentage of the profit, I guess, he/she will not refuse the offer. -
This is a nice thread and one that newbies will have to read because of what they will learn from the thread And I agree with chuna when she said that "you are not supposed to leave demo". You can never stop learning and re-learning when it comes to forex, so a demo account must always be around.

The topic on controlling emotions in forex have been one of the most-talked about topic in many forex forums, as well in many PTPs with forex sections. Meaning, when you become a forex trader, it is really being strongly suggested that you control your emotions (greed, hope, etc). But then, I am also in agreement that it is quite impossible to do that. Even expert traders goes through nervous situations. I guess, the only one who can really control emotions are robots.

How much capital that you used in trading?
pinoycity replied to andry777's topic in Forex General Discussion
I agree with the post that says that in order for you to earn big in forex, you must trade with bigger amounts of money. Quite risky, but I would be contented with earning even 1% of my money daily. Imagine, having $1000 in your account and you earn 1% daily - that's $300 already in a month. Of course, easier said than done. -
I agree with you that most HYIPs are using ponzi schemes (shades of Madoff). But, surely, there are HYIPs which are legitimate, although I can't pinpoint them. But then, I will still prefer forex over HYIP for the simple reason that youwill earn more in forex than in HYIPs but you need to be well-educated about forex basics.

I think, it is not possible for a trader to actually win or to earn everyday in forex. But when you say, average, as in you compute your earnings monthly and get the average daily earnings, it will be possible that you will get earnings daily. It is quite impossible to know the movement of currencies everyday.

Not idea to post 10 posts here daily. In 10 days, you can request for a payment. Even if there will be delays, as long as the admin is known to pay, at least, you are expecting something from someone. Do this in some other forums and you will get a decent amount every month.
-
I was also unfortunate because I was an upgraded member in the old LOT and got about some $10-worth of posts that I have not requested yet for payment when the old LOT closed. Well, that's some rsik we, at the PTP community has to face.
-
In some other forums, the discussion about the site have been terminated owing to the fact that it is already not paying, although there really are still people posting there. I wonder if they know that the site is not paying anymore.
-
If you will try to get referrals from the GPT community, I don't think it will work because we all know how low the rates are in this forum. But if you can get your friends to join myLot and be active here, it might work well because, in here you can all have a chat and earn at the same time.

pinoycity replied to RockyBalboa's topic in Get Paid To Post
I also had some problems with the loading of the site this morning but did not experience the problem anymore this afternoon. I can now post fast and on my way to my fifth payment request which I am expecting to be as fast as my previous four payment requests. -
I hope that the site will get back its original traffic of activities. There are comments in other forums that the site's activities is decreasing due to delay in previous payment requests.
-
Discussions in other forums about TCC seems to be somewhat negative because of the delay in previous payment and the lower rates (compared to EP). But I am in agreement that we should also support thsi site if only for us in the PTP community to have more options.
-
I have now received both my pending payment requests from EP and TCC. But I hope they will also create an upgrade in the membership here in TCC just like in EP. Sort of making an option for more earnings here.

Demo account is for learning the basics of forex and is highly recommended with forex newcomers. The trading in a demo account will have mush lesser emotions as you are dealing with play money. But you cannot really learn how to control emotions if you will not play forex using a real account. So, demo and real accounts go hand in hand.
-
But it will be better if you will lose in a demo account. This way, there will really be no losses but only gains. You gain in experience on how to assess situations and how to act when face with a problem. It also helps to lose in real trading, but the pain in losing will be lesser in a demo account.
