Well, I agree that we should just content ourselves with how things are here in DMT. Anyway, we are having no problems with our payments since they are being processed fast. -
I guess, all members are disappointed right now because of this "hacking" incident here in IP. All got their points reduced. I got mine reduced by almost 300 points. Some got more reduction. Posters can just hope that this will not happen again.

Trend trading strategies your best friend in forex?
pinoycity replied to yogeshwartyagi's topic in Forex Newbies
Wow, a $50 loss is a big loss to me at this time. I think, I will really feel down if I will lose that kind of amount. But this can be charged to experience also. And this might pay good dividends in the future. -
Importance of Demo Account/virtual account in Forex
pinoycity replied to abdulla1's topic in Forex Newbies
I think, you do not really think about the lot size when you do demo trading. What is important are the number of pips you win or lose using a strategy. This will gauge the usefulness of a strategy.- 751 replies

Those are very big capitals already. Maybe, you can do with small capital at the start and lesser profit. If your strategy is really good, you can just add up to it every time you win in a trade. There will come a time when this capital will grow. And that is, again, provided your strategy has a winning probability.

Just goes to show that you have to be careful with these EAs. With this experience of yours, we can say that they are really not expert advisers, not all the time, anyway.
-
I also feel the same way. Although, a help from a software will be most welcome, I feel that I will not be contented on just being told when to enter and exit a trade. I want to know the reasons why.
-
Yeah, this is simple but true. Oftentimes, I feel the need to continue trading even if I am seeing a loss. I have to really push my self to stop the trade. There will really be times when you will lose and there will be times a traders will win.
-
Some newbies will lose all their account because of not putting stop-losses. Maybe, maybe not. If a newbie will not really know what to do when faced with difficulties, he/she will really lose.

Yes, I agree. Facial reactions to things being said can tell a lot of things. A good mentor can encourage a student more with just with good facial reactions.

Is it possible for me to sell my forex account online
pinoycity replied to chuna1985's topic in Forex Newbies
In the first place, why would a person sell his/her account? Why not just get all the money in his/her account? I don't think, a person will buy an account for more than what is in the account. -
I have only been trading for less than six months so, I am still newbies among newbies. I have know Forex trading for many years now but have not traded during those times. A person needs some kind of good convincing to make him/her trade.
-
It is not totally impossible. I believe that somewhere, someone is trading with a very high capital and is successfully trading and earning, on average, $1000 every day or even greater.

Do not ignore benefits of long term trading
pinoycity replied to yogeshwartyagi's topic in Forex Newbies
I do not ignore the benefits of long-term trading but I am actually, intimidated by long-term trading. I feel that I am not ready for it yet. I am now in the processing of checking the charts and analyzing the effect of news on it. Maybe, if I will learn more about it, I will trade long-term. -
Even simple business like small retail store has terminologies. And terminologies are there to determine which is which. They are there to provide order in it and not confusion. It can be difficult to understand a thing if people will use different terminologies.

Well, the broker behind this forex forum is a good one so members do not really have to worry about the payment. I think, those payments they give in their forum is just a small percentage of their earnings. And what's more, most traders/posters lose their money anyway.

Someone who has many referrals will not earn much here, in this PTC. The referral click rate is just too small - just 10% of the normal click rate. And the admin should have offered some free or cheap upgrades.
-
As I am writing this post, this PTC only has 32 members. I think, this is because of the high minimum cash out amount. And the admin did not even bother to offer free upgrades.
-
I don't think, I would be too trusting of this PTC because the minimum cash out amount is a bit high at $3 (relative to the click rate). But the referral click rate is quite good, as it is half of the normal rate.
-
I am going to cash-out, later this month. I am already eligible for cash out since the admin lowered the minimum cash out amount. All the while, I thought that the payments system was still the same in that the members are not the one requesting payments. I remember, this one already changed and members can request payment already.
-
Not yet ready, indeed. Maybe, he has no funds yet and cannot sustain the payment. Then again, I think, the admin already spent some capital in it. It will just go to waste if it will just be left unattended.
-
How much was the prize in the past? Is it still worth the effort to join this contest if the prize is just $1? I was thinking of joining this contest but I am having second-thoughts.
-
Well, yes, it can be that the admin is trust-worthy. Anyway, I will register here and post sparingly. If I will see some payment proofs, then I will try to be active here to reach the payment level. I just hope that I will not experience what I have experienced in PaidTP.

I have not posted in TCC yesterday but I did create posts in its sister site, EP. And I did not encounter any problem in EP, so I guess, I also do not have problems with TCC. I will be posting here today and I am hoping for many open threads.

I have posted a lot yesterday and did not experience any errors in the site. Anyway, I hope that the MTV admin will consider putting back the Paypal option, now that other forums are doing the same.
