I wonder are there any long term "carry" traders left in Forex Trading. In long-term trading risk exposure is exceptionally high with such market volatility it's very dangerous to hold positions open for more than 2-3 days. Large part of traders move on short-term, HFT trading because it's less riskier and much more rewarding. I do scalping with Hotforex, my current account equity is around 8K$ and I can't admit a thought that I can open some long-term position or even medium-term

One of the biggest forex myths is that it's ... scam. It may really seem difficult and comlicated for newbies to earn consistent profit there but it's because they don't have solid trading strategy and can't control their emotions at all. I've been trading with Hotforex for 3 years and first year was full of losses and frustrating trades. I managed to enter profitable side of trading only after that painful education but now I make off living with that. Wish you the same and don't afraid to lose.

Yes trend is our best friend that's why I trade with Hotforex and always follow a trend when trying to guess direction of the price.

Long-term trading is more accurate in forecasts but much harder because it requires much more capital and patience to overcome losses and not taking profits early. That's why I prefer scalping with Hotforex

I think it only concerns US traders where traders are obligated to report about flow of their capital. I trade with Hotforex without tax hassle, my country even not yet adopted any law regulating forex so I enjoy profit not paying taxes at all.

Lots of ECN and STp brokers have fixed spreads, it is a good alternative for high-volume traders, expecting stable low spread and bit of clearness in transactions costs. I trade both fixed and floating spreads account on Hotforex, applying different strategies to both of them.

I also picked up some bonus (forgot its name) when registering Hotforex live account. There is some special conditions for its releas, but I don't focused on getting that money, it is enough that it serves some trading purpose for me.

Concentrating is essential while developing trading strategy or preparing money management rules, because any fault may result in huge loss. Backtesting, especially results should be also carefully considerated before going live. I mentioned most important times where concentration is enormously needed.

Yeah demo account is very important for tenderfoot. It will help him to learn basics and will assist him during development of his trading career. My first and current demo is Hotforex, I trade with them about 2 years and quite contented with the quality of services they offer
