Focusing on higher time frames can provide new traders with more reliable and clearer signals, as they are less susceptible to market noise and fluctuations compared to shorter time frames. Additionally, trading on higher time frames with HFM allows traders to avoid the pitfalls of frequent trading and excessive transaction costs associated with scalping.

Great suggestion, I think Gold will soon pullback a little bit before it will continue to rise, so I keep short-term bearish position with HFM
-
Depends on your strategy. With HFM I trade swap arbitrage and this strategy needs exotic pairs.

Check beeksfx, they are located in LD4, basically no latency with broker servers. Some brokers like HFM offer it for free
-
Could you please name some of them because I'm making additional research to see if there are better options
-
What do you mean brother? I see great discussion here
-
Yeah, when I first opened HFM platform these pairs stayed at the top. I clearly remember this moment lol
-
Maybe you should also check beeksfx which is located in LD4 and is offered for free by HFM if you meet their trading turnover requirement. Pretty fair deal in my view.

What is the amount of money you typically invest in trading?
boltushkin replied to Nona_3's topic in Forex General Discussion
It really depends on individual risk tolerance and financial situation. Personally, trading with HFM, I stick to the rule of not risking more than 1-2% of my total trading capital on any single trade. This helps me manage risk and avoid significant losses. So, for example, if I have a $10,000 account, I’d risk about $100 to $200 per trade. It’s all about staying comfortable with your risk and protecting your capital. -
Have you considered beeksfx? HFM offers them for free if you meet their turnover requirement

A forex trading platform like MT4 or MT5 offered by HFM, Exness or other broker is a trading app that allows traders to buy and sell currencies in the foreign exchange market. It provides tools for charting, market analysis, and trade execution, along with access to real-time price data. They offer features such as technical indicators, automated trading, and risk management options to help traders make informed decisions.

No deposit bonus from brokers. Any suggestions?
boltushkin replied to boltushkin's topic in Forex Newbies
I do not mind if the broker does not provide any bonuses because I look for good trading conditions and reliability, like at HFM The commission cost is lower at $4 per lot, with spreads starting at 0 pips, and since it is regulated by FCA, they adhere to strict capital requirements, so there is no room to worry about the money. -
Markets go up by stairs and down by elevator. That's why I love to catch shorting opportunities, made a lot of money shorting BTC with HFM in its recent slump.

To control your fear you have to spend enough time on learning and practicing with a demo account. You have fear because you do not have enough confidence about your trading skills and you should invest more time into your trading education especially learn market functioning

The benefits of a demo account is preparing and shaping character. Remember something done over and over again will become habitual. A habit that is done continuously to form characters. And the character that eventually became a lifestyle, especially of a trader.

Factors that are considered while choosing a broker
boltushkin replied to Gee Dee's topic in Forex Newbies
Credibility is arguably the most important factor you have to consider before investing your money with any Forex broker. Best criteria is probably regulation and license and I usually focus on FCA regulated brokers like IB, HFM -
Buying a Forex VPS from a decent company
boltushkin replied to Giftforme's topic in Forex General Discussion
I use beeks fx from HFM it's free since I meet volume requirements not without with the help of VPS since it reduces execution speed considerably -
MT5 is best in my view, I use one from HFM, glad that I upgraded to it from MT4

What is the amount of money you typically invest in trading?

Depends on risk, promised returns and reputation of investment firm. For example I invested more than 5K in HFM copytrading because I traded with them for a long time and trust them. Fund managers listed there offer reward with risk in reasonable proportion, like 20% max drawdown and monthly profit of 20-40%. Couldn't find similar offers anywhere else. -
Any news when HFM will introduce no-deposit bonuses? Many of my friends want to try their platform risk free

It is still important price action could be useful when the times is right, sometimes i use it too even well same like you I use fundamental analysis with news from HFM economic calendar as my own main base to reap more profit. I see that major currency pair is easily to predict in most cases, like EURUSD or USDJPY, I seldom find it is hard to analyze the major pairs.
-
Base currency comes first, quote currency is the second, at least this is how it works in my HFM platform. Other brokers can make it different.

For beginners, demo trading accounts like from HFM, offer significant benefits, including risk-free practice and the opportunity to learn how the forex market operates without financial risk. They allow new traders to familiarize themselves with trading platforms, execute trades, and develop and test strategies using virtual funds. A

In trading, my inspiration comes from several sources, but a prominent influence has been watching about the disciplined and analytical approaches of successful traders in HFM webinars. Their ability to navigate market complexities with a combination of intuition, rigorous analysis, and strong risk management principles has been particularly motivating. Additionally, engaging with a community of traders and learning from both their successes and challenges has continually inspired me to refine my strategies and maintain a disciplined mindset.

BeeksFx is better in my view and one great thing about them that some brokers like HFM offer it free you meet their turnover requirements
