  1. Forex is not an easy job. It is tough in brain and one thing that an average trader would find difficult to understand. In other to become a good trader, we would devote time and commitment to learn through time. That means That patience on its own plays a great role.
  2. It's all up to the trader. But then, before you choose on which to trade in, there is need for knowledge. Trading in gold or by extension commodities lye with a clear understanding of it. Forex isn't just any business and gold can sometimes be demanding when it comes to capital requirements.
  3. As far as I know, there is no long term effect of scalping. You just do what you know how to do best and make profit from scalping. Trading in Forex is about the knowledge of a particular form of trading and you are good to go. It's also about your ability to modify your strategy when need be.
  4. It all lies in the analysis the trader did. There are successful scalpers and swing traders. That which a trader has to look out for is when he is at his best when it comes to Forex. Trading isn't always a business where we can see a particular time as best unless it is based on how we analyze the market and find the best time.
  5. Forex is best traded with a cool mind. It doesn't help trading in it aggressively because when a trader is an aggressive one, it means he is the type that will trade with a do or die approach. The best of Forex is seen when we trade with a well thought after analysis of the market. Understanding what it means to be a successful trader.
  6. Forex isn't easy, it is a fact that we shouldn't always forget. No matter how good we wish to paint it, it is a business that we should always be mindful of losses. Losing is so easy in the business and it is wise enough for the newbies not to go home and swallow the fact that you can make easy money out of it. It's about how hard you work.
  7. I won't say it is something that is useless because there are still those who use it and behold, still make profits in the process. It's all about the trader himself and how good he is in using robots. There are even institutional traders who trade with robots and they are not losing out. The two underlying factors are how good you are in making use of it and how good is the robot.
  8. Not that there are traders who are scared of trading in the lower time frames because there are still those who base their analysis on a lower time frame. The fact is that it is more accurate predicting on a higher time frame and with this, the trader can get more effective analysis than analyzing from a lower time frame.
  9. Well, I still believe that every trader has his own techniques and mode of trading which makes him profit. It doesn't lie in the skills alone but also in the risk management capabilities. A trader would make profit from Forex only when he is determined to do so and also stand on it towards achieving that dream of making it big.
  10. To a great extent, Forex is all about what the trader himself is able to make from it. There is no perfect trader and that could only mean that there is as well, no perfect strategy. We all work towards having a good trading strategy and develop our skills in other to become better traders. One of the ways to achieve this is doing it our own way which we learnt ourselves.
  11. Well, it is the lot size you wish to use and your leverage that counts more. If you use a low lot and then a low leverage, you can buy a up to 3000 shares when you increase your leverage to a higher one. But then, you have to realize that it is also equal to the amount you are going to lose per pip provided you increased your lot size as well.
  12. News trading is just about understanding of economic data. A trader can trade fundamentally provided he can read and understand the economic data well. Another is the person's ability to watch and be able to know too well, how he can also cope with high impact news. This has always been the cause why some traders lose big.
  13. Going low when it comes to leverage is quite good because you also go low on the potential losses. No one would want to be losing and in other to run away from excessive losses which is always a shortcut to losses, then it is wise enough to also cut low, the leverage and the lot size. These two things can be highly responsible for reaching an MC.
  14. That's a nice one. It is always good to start with something good and that which the trader can understand from the basics. Trading in Forex is all about an understanding of what the business is all about in the first place. By so doing, the trader will be able to know as well, how to handle it better.
  15. I think it's just the admins busy schedule because I have been paid over and over again here. Currently, I even have a pending payment request which I don't know when it will be processed. Meanwhile, once the forum is up and running well again, I won't hesitate to fall back.
  16. Well, we shouldn't under estimate it yet and treat it as unimportant because the admin might still resurface. I think it's a matter of him being too busy on other things that contributes to the major reason the site is been delayed up till now. Most probably, in the near future, he might make it a PTP.
  17. There's really a kinda selective payment sometimes in the forum and I don't know if it is that the admin intentionally skips it or he does it the way he wants. Well, I have given up hope in my pending payment since I sent the admin a PM and he didn't reply to know the statues of my payment request.
  18. Well, it's a matter of what the poster is good at and how best he can communicate. Personally, I'm quite fine with posting in the forum provided there are some good activities in the forum. Right now, I have put another payment on queue and hope the admin would process it soon.
  19. @budado, yes, the Forec section is a paying one and you can see that your post count increases if you post there. I thought you deliberately don't want to post there for some reasons. It always has some good activities as well and the posters share some good information there.
  20. These days, I post here in batches of five posts at a time and I'm always watchful of the time. It really pisses me off to see that warning of how long you have to wait. BTW, the forum is back with a lot of activities and it is doing just about fine. I hope to maintain my activities here again.
  21. It's good to have my activities back here again after a very long time since the last payment was made here. I can still see some old members coming back and it could sense one signal to me; being that I will get even more active in the coming days over here. Hopefully, I will have some good conversation here.
  22. I think it is more than two months the admin processed the last payment here and I wonder why it is taking so long. However, we won't deny the fact that he is always coming online which means that there is no cause for alarm in any way. Let's just hope that he does that any time soon and members get paid.
  23. I want to see if I can maintain some good activities here daily. Even if it means posting just 10 posts per day to see if I can still keep fit in it. It's been a very long time I posted last here and It's not been that easy for me due to offline tasks. Even though I have not yet visited the Forex section, the activities in the PTP seems cool as well to me.
  24. I wonder why the admin has refused to increase the reply rate and for me, that rate is too poor if you compare it with that which he is paying for a thread. It means he wants the forum flooded with a lot of threads which will end up being very similar to each other.
  25. Well, even though the admin hasn't officially said so, I think he has plans for it and he is also planning it big as well. I also think that his continued absence for the past couple of days might just be due to his schedules. Let's see what he has for us as soon as he comes back online.
