  1. I just heard the news yesterday through an email from admin that the post rate has just been reduced to 1 cent per post. It came just after payments where being cleared and everyone was excited and surely ready to go back to resume making their posts in here. Members have been dealt another blow with this reduction but hopefully admin will get everything in order soon.
  2. I now have 160 points in here and just need 40 more points in order to reach my target of 200 points. As soon as I reach that target I will submit my payment request in here and wait for payments to be cleared. From what other members are saying in here it would see that payment processing is indeed fast so that is a welcome relief but just hope that admin becomes consistent.
  3. Someone did mention on one of the forums that admin had changed the rule with regards to the Paid to Post section. Apparently the GPT section as a whole is a non-paying section but the PTP has since been changed to PTP. This would be a welcome relief for members that may need to take a breather and post to a different section in here.
  4. Quite true that some members are able to reach payout more frequently than others. I put it to determination and patience of these members in making some good earnings from this site. You have to admire their efforts when you consider the fact that some dont even get to work on tasks in here as they are international users but they still get to reach their target.
  5. It is not easy at all to be patient under the circumstances. Its been well over two months now since I submitted my payment request and nothing has come of it. I dont have much of a choice now but to wait for payments to be cleared. My biggest regret is requesting a payout when I only had 100 posts in here. It would have been better to have accumulatd more points and cashed out at a higher number of posts instead. Anyway I know better now and this is what I will be doing next time.
  6. I guess you do have a point if you look at it from the point of view of strengthening the forum through encouraging the making of quality posts on the forum. But some forums do specify that although they do have a fixed post rate, they can reduce the post rate in the event that they feel that the post does not deserve the full rate as advertised.
  7. You are quite right since the only reason why members would have suspended their posting activities in here is due to delayed payments in here. If admin does clear payments then members would feel more confident about resuming their posting here since there would be seeing that admin did clear out payments.
  8. i am quite sure that you know what I meant to say. I have just about 18 posts in here which I made some time ago and never really had the motivation to post here since then. I must say that I admire the people that were abe to receive payments of $5 for their 100 posts in here. They must surely have shown themselves to be contributing quite well to the forum through quality posts.
  9. This is encouraging and I believe that although posting activities will not dramatically increase overnight, there will be a gradual increase of members posting here as admin has shown that he is able to pay members. Moving forward, admin needs to maintain some sort of consistency when it comes to payments so as to gain the confidence of his members.
  10. My payment in here is still in queue of being verified. I hope that happens soon and I will only have to wait for admin to make payment. I still need to return to th forum in order to make some posts so that I can request again immediately when admin clears payouts. I have so not been able to do that but hopefully in the coming week I will resume posting here again.
  11. I have finally managed to get the courage to return to posting in here and was able to make a couple of posts yesterday. My confidence levels are at a high so although I wont be able to post regularly here I will try and make some posts whenever I can and hopefully will get to reach minimum required to get the bonus. I see that a lot of members are doing quite well in here and think that I should also get a piece of the pie.
  12. More and more members are prooudly showing off their payment proofs from this site and this is good. I took a break from here as I wasnt posting over the past few days but will resume posting here this evening. I will make my 5 posts for the contest and wait to be paid just like everyone else. I would prefer though for my payments to be made in bulk as opposed to daily.
  13. This is exactly what is needed in here. Consistent clearing of payments in here by admin will surely boost the posting activities in here as member regain the confidence in admin just like it was before. Activities are still low at the moment so hopefully and more of these payment proofs spread around various forums activities will increase.
  14. It think that it is very clear to see from Chardyme's post count of more than two thousand posts that he is still a newbie in here. No doubt about that...LOL yes the forums is indeed good and it doesnt have to take that long for one to be able to reach payout in here. I want to see if I can make an extra 100 or so points so that I change my payment request to reflect a higher amount.
  15. I registered in here a while back but cant remember receiving an activation mail. After logging on I do not have permissin to post or create threads. It seems its because my account hasnt been activated. I hope that support can help in getting this sorted out as soon as possible so I can start posting in here.
  16. I am not much of a fan of contests so I would rather spend my time making posts. Contests are not definite and after all that activity you may find that you are not the winner which means that you would have essentially waisted your effort. Posting is much better because you then have an idea of how much to expect when payments are cleared.
  17. We are able to achieve some of the things that a mentor would provide just by sharing and posting in forums like here. The fact that there is a mixture of different forex traders with varying levels of experience is of benefit to all of us. The advice and information we get here is similar to that of a mentor except that there are a lot of people with differing views to share their experiences. One should not work alone but make use of available resources like mentors where possible.
  18. What matters at the end of the day is the experience that you get from your losses and what you end up doing about it. If you learn from your losses you have a better chance of being succcesful that someone who ignores the losses and goes back to trading without evaluating what if they could have done things better to influence a positive outcome out of their trading experience.
  19. keeping your emotions in check is somewhat easier said that done. One way or another there will be instances where they actually overlap and this is to be expected. Yes, it is very important that we try and avoid using our emotions when trading as we end up making trading decisions that are certainly not well though out. Once we can achieve that we wont opt out unnecessarily as a result of fear for example and make much better informed decisions.
  20. managing your emotions as a newbie trader is going to prove to be tricky since it comes with experience. We are all human and at one stage or another this is going to influence our trading decisions. One needs to to try as much as possible not to let this be the case as this can result in increasing our losses and reducing opportunities for profit. So keeping our emotions in check is something that also needs to be looked out for,
  21. What is important is that your points are moving forward slowly but surely. The more payment proofs that you are able to post in here is the more you your points in here and sooner or later you will leaning towards your target.
  22. To be honest I sort of prefer fixed post rates because then I can e able to know for sure how much I am going to get when my payment request does get processed. Its been a long time since I received deductions so that is the smallest of my worries. I'd would relly like to see with my first payout how I did in here.
  23. I havent been the forum since I submitted my payment requests here a couple of days ago. Its weird since activities are always good in here despite delays in payments. Could it be that members have decided to look elsewhere to make some posts while waiting for payments to be cleared?
  24. This will be the first payment that I will be getting from this PTP forum so I am sort of holding thumbs that admin does come through for members of the site. There's a long list of pending payment requests in here that may be discouraging to members wanting to be active in here. I'm sure that as soon as admin clears payments in here activities will increase again.
  25. I only have 18 or so points in here and I have been registered in here for a while now. For some reason I do not feel motivated to post in here. The last I heard someone had recommended about 20 posts a day as maximum to get get a good post rate. When the time is right I will try to be active here.
