Most trading platforms support various mobiles devices including the iphone, android, ipad and even windows mobile startphones. You do get to see a graphical display of quotes and best of all you can even get to perform your trading operations from the mobile which is cool but doing it from the PC still remains the best.

I agree that it wil not be easy for just about anyone to learn how to control their emotions. I suppose it also ome with experience which is why it more harder for newbies to adjust or face the transition from a demo account to a real account.

It is always even harder for newbies to adapt. Within a "training" or "simulation" environment which is what a demo account does provide for the newbie its easier because emotions are not all over the place. So what needs to be taken care of as you corretly put it is controlling your emotions in live trading.

I see that this was going to be your very first payment from here and in fact the first payment from this forum. Too bad indeed. I see that there are still a few members that are active in the forum in the hope of being paid for their contribution. As for me, I will ignore this site and consider it as not paying.

I think that the name of the PTP forum is quite misleading in the first place. It makes many people stay away thinking that it is an exclusively forex forum. I still havent found the time to post here and the post rate isnt encouraging for me either but I see that there are members who are active here which is good.

I think its time to accept that this site is gone. The website is no longer available so I doubt that after recent development admin would still return to bring the site back to life. The signs were there anyway that this site would not last for long and may of us expected things to end this way.

Admin's first gesture of good faith should have been to pay you before approaching you about being a moderator here. Anyway, this will still give you time to be active in the many PTP that you are currently a member of. I still wonder how you get the time to work on them all. You must have a good strategy that works for you.

i dont know if I should say congratulations on winning the contest or not. That would obviously depend on what happened next. What happens when you dont claim your prize, do you then loose it? That would be sad cause I can imagine if you were to find out that you won while you where offline and only find out when it was too late to claim...lol -
The post rate in here is actually 2 cents per post in here. It is a good place to be active and there is a good variety of threads to post to in so you can easily spread your activities around and enjoy the forum. I now have over 110 points in here and hopefully soon I will be in a position to request a payout.

@trickster I did think of working towards another target and submitting another payment request but then had the same thought @riddick has. Its better to post on other forums at the moment where I can get to receive the funds within in a shorter period of time as opposed to the current time it takes here. I will still be active here but with the awareness that it is a long term investment.

It does seem there is indeed lower posting activities than would usually be in here. I never really checked how activities are on weekends as I always see an abundance of posting by members here. There are still many threads to reply to so this should not affect my posting that much as I need to make just about 100 points in here time willing.

Got my first payment from here yesterday meaning that I got paid in just two days. I received $2.50 from my 100 points in here which I think is not that bad cnsidering that I did post mostly in the PTP section. I will be back posting here hopefully today in the hope of upping this payout next time that I request my payout. -
So in essense if admin can secure sponsorship from a forex broker then we are bound to see an increase in post rates in here. I know that admin was also involved with a forex forum before as I even saw a thread in there anouncing that when he was leaving that forum.

It is much better to post at a post rate of 2 cents per post as compared to 1 cent which may be discouraging to some members including myself. With the recent increase I have been able to become more active and have accumulated 120 points in here. At this rate I should be able to reach my target within the next few days.

Its always good that admin does give updates in here because it helps to allay the fears and concerns of member who may get worried about certain development within a PTP forum. A transparent admin who informs members of the state of things on a forum is one that I prefer.

I also checked on the forum but could not find the annoucement about the recent decrease in post rates although I did receive the mail notification from admin. Admin did also send an email today sending out best wishes for mothers day. This is probably why some members who had not received the mail where suprised by the points after making posts here.

thanks for the advice guys. @trickster I think I will have try that as I only sent a query to support through the contacts link thus far. @riddick09 I have checked the spam folder to no avail as there is nothing in there. I am using a .co.za domain and am not sure if I want the activation mail to be resent to be in case I dont receive it for the second time. If possible they could just maual activate my account.

To be honest activities in here are not that high so it is discouraging sometimes to post but we always try to do so in spite of that. In as far as posting in different sections, it can only work to our advatange. For example, I am comforttable posting in PTP but realise that posting forex will give me an increased post rate. It also makes it interesting when you post in different sections.

You would do well to determine the credentials of the mentor that you are dealing with. This is important because it would determine the type of knowledge and experience that this mentor will be sharing with you. Obviously if you take on a mediocre mentor then it is quite likely that you will no gain a lot from this interaction and experience with them.

I dont think that there should be a limit to the amount of time that one should spend in a demo account. Our level of comprehension and understanding are not the same and although for some it might take a short period of time, for other it may be longer till they are comfortable and confident enough to start live trading.

I think that forex is way better than hyip's. In the event of a loss you are able to analyse and retrace your steps to determine what you could have done in order to minimize your losses. Moving forward you are able to adjust your strategies. In HYIP's they can just close down and scam without any notice and this therefore increases the element of risk involved.

The fact that forex is offered at university means that the learning experience would be more structured, include research cases and scenarios that would surely benefit a newcomer trader. The type of learning experience that one would be getting from this type of environment would be most valuable that I think it would surely be a good idea if it were to be incorporated.

I was also under the impression that all sections are 2 cents per post. I do see from looking at the payng sections that there are indeed sections that are paying 4 cents per post in here. Some of these sections are : Forex Education Zone, Live Trading Discussion and Fundamental Analysis sections and its is 5 cents for threads creation.

I have resumed my posting activities here today upon hearing that the post rate has since been increased to 2 cents per post. This increase is quite welcome by members as you would have seen from the feedback of member on various forums. I was able to earn 50 points from here today and will try again tomorrow to continue with another round of posting.

i still cannot access the site using the url money-evolution.com as I still encounter error here. To access this site you need to use money-evolution.com/forum and that works just fine. Admin needs to sort that out because some members who are ot aware of this may probably think that the site is not working and will be unable to reach their posting target as a result.
